The Shopping Scout in Kansas City

I need a food detox after everything I ate this weekend! The one item that I do not regret eating, are the Cinnamon Rolls from Dolce Baking Company. These sweet, doughy pillows are pure delight and some of the best I have ever had.

They are big, I will give them that, but they aren't enormous. You can eat one and not feel like you need to take a nap. For me, the icing is just as important as the dough, and theirs is superb. It tasted to me like they had a touch of cream cheese in their frosting, which is pure heaven. I could have eaten two, but stopped myself at one...thinking of them makes me want to hop in the car and head right on over there!

Dolce Baking Company has other great things too, I have ordered their cupcakes multiple times, and just recently I tried their iced sugar cookies which are delicious. They are soft, not overly sweet and I could taste just a hint of lemon in them. I am yet to try something that I do not like there.
