It's in the jeans

After having lunch in Corinth Square last week, a girlfriend and I popped into In Clover to browse around and check out some of their new fall items. Both my friend and I picked up the same pair of dark wash, wide leg jeans. I didn't recognize the brand, so I asked Heather, one of the store owners about the jeans.

The brand is called SOLD Design Lab, based out of Los Angeles. I was curious as to how a jean could be sized XS-L; this is definitely not normal sizing for denim. Heather informed me that they are actually an elastic waist jean. No, not like the Pajama Jean you may see on television, but a jean with a faux zipper and a button front closure that you can actually just pull on.

I was so anxious to see how these pull on jeans would look on both my friend ( a teeny tiny size 26) and me, who is a curvier 28. We pulled them on and voila! They were PERFECT. It felt like a commercial as we both were admiring the results in the mirror. The fit is incredibly slimming, they are unbelievably comfortable and they are what I call a "butt lifter". This comes when the pockets are perfectly placed on the behind. I could not believe that 2 girls with different body types could look just as good in the same jeans.

Right now In Clover has only one style in this brand and they are similar to the wide leg style pictured above. They sell for $118, which some may find too expensive. But when you find something that looks this good, it's worth every penny.

In Clover is located at:
